Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using QuickTrans Services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Services

QuickTrans Services (“Company,” “we,” “us”) provides professional translation, interpretation, transcription, subtitling, voice-over, data capture, and technical publication services. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our services and form a binding agreement between you (“Client”) and QuickTrans Services.

2. Quotations & Orders

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
  • An order is confirmed upon written acceptance of the quote (email or signed agreement).
  • Prices are based on the source material provided at the time of quotation. Additional content may result in revised pricing.
  • Rush orders may be subject to additional charges as communicated at the time of quotation.

3. Delivery & Deadlines

  • We commit to delivering projects within the agreed-upon timeframe.
  • Delivery deadlines begin from the date we receive all necessary source materials and confirmed instructions.
  • If the Client makes changes to the scope after order confirmation, deadlines may be adjusted accordingly.
  • Force majeure events may impact delivery timelines and will be communicated promptly.

4. Quality & Revisions

  • All translations undergo our three-step quality assurance process (translation, editing, proofreading).
  • Clients may request revisions within 14 days of delivery at no additional cost, provided the revisions are within the original project scope.
  • Stylistic preferences (as opposed to errors) communicated after delivery may be subject to additional charges.
  • We welcome client-provided glossaries, style guides, and reference materials to ensure alignment with your preferences.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment terms are Net 15 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • For new clients or large projects, we may require partial or full advance payment.
  • Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 1.5% per month.
  • We accept payments via bank transfer, UPI, and other standard payment methods.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all client materials as strictly confidential. All our linguists and staff are bound by Non-Disclosure Agreements. Client documents will not be shared with any third party except those directly involved in the project. Upon request, we can execute a separate NDA specific to your organization.

7. Intellectual Property

The Client retains all intellectual property rights to their source materials. Upon full payment, all rights to the translated content transfer to the Client. Translation memories and glossaries created during the project may be retained by QuickTrans for use in future projects for the same Client, unless otherwise instructed.

8. Limitation of Liability

QuickTrans Services' total liability for any claim arising from the services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our translations. The Client is responsible for final review and approval of all delivered materials before publication or use.

9. Cancellation

  • Cancellation before work begins: No charge (full refund if prepaid).
  • Cancellation after work has begun: Client will be charged for work completed to date.
  • Rush orders that are cancelled after linguist assignment may incur a cancellation fee.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India. We encourage parties to attempt amicable resolution before pursuing legal action.
